Adapting sites to special server conditions

You may need to adapt your site to the server environment to which you are uploading it--for example, altering its folder structure or stripping HTML code that you don't want to make available to the public. For this purpose, you need to export the site before you upload it.

You may also be dividing your site up among several servers. For that purpose, you need to distribute it locally, setting up multiple site documents for the purpose.
